As Principal, you will represent Moseley while engaging with local, state and federal correctional leaders and participating in conferences and events. Within this niche market, you will maintain relationships, establish new contacts, ensure high-quality project delivery and performance, and take part in strategic planning and leadership.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years’ experience in AEC leadership
- Architecture or Engineering licensure preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, defines vision, strategy, and business plans while fostering a culture of external and internal client service
- Develop and execute marketing strategies by identifying new business opportunities and relationships, maintaining and growing current relationships, and ensuring Moseley’s standing in the Marketplace
- Responsible for the successful execution of the defined practice goals and business plan
- Negotiate, prepare, and manage project contracts to include overall scope, schedule, budget, invoicing, billing, and workload projections
- Lead project programming, feasibility studies, and overall project development
- Oversee and provide focused client guidance to project teams, led by project manager
- Attend regional marketing and business development opportunities, proposals, interviews, and presentations
- Assist in design, production, and construction administration matters to ensure responsible knowledge of the project
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external clients and internal team members with a collaborative relationship focused leadership style
- Create a quality design while meeting the clients’ expectations and maintaining profitability goals
- Participate in mentoring and coaching of emerging professionals
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills:
- Capable of working professionally in a collaborative team environment with an integrated design approach, leading the design effort for multiple projects
- Diligence in monitoring progress, identifying potential problems, and designing solutions as necessary
- Thorough knowledge of applicable sustainability principles, integrated design, and LEED guidelines
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, including client interaction and presentation delivery
- Expertise in creating and leading community and stakeholder engagement
- Extensive understanding of project work plans, schedules, staffing, and budget
Software Proficiencies:
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required
- General understanding of Autodesk Revit (BIM) preferred
